Westcoastcrafts is a sole trader based on the western seaboard in Ireland.

We offer handmade, pure beeswax candles to customers across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the European Union (EU). While every effort has been made to represent our candles accurately, beeswax is a natural material that continues to settle and mature over time, with its characteristics influenced by storage temperature. As a result, each candle is unique, and slight variations in size, colour, and the level of natural bloom may occur.

This policy outlines how we handle order processing and shipping in accordance with applicable consumer laws: EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), Irish consumer legislation and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations and our commitment that you enjoy our candles as much as we relish making them.

Order Processing

  • We will dispatch orders at the mutually agreed time via email

  • You will receive a confirmation email from us, once your order has been dispatched.

Delivery Regions

We deliver to:

  • Republic of Ireland

  • Northern Ireland

  • All EU countries

Estimated Delivery Times

  • Ireland & Northern Ireland: 1–3 business days after dispatch.

  • EU Countries: 3–7 business days after dispatch (please note that this may vary by actual location within the EU).

Shipping Fees

  • Shipping fees are calculated at checkout, on the Shopping page in our website, based on both destination and product parcel weight.

  • Our products are shipped using reliable postal or courier services (e.g. An Post, DHL).

Duties & Taxes

  • No customs duties apply for deliveries to Ireland, Northern Ireland, or within the EU.

Our delivery regions are: Ireland, Northern Ireland and the EU.

If you choose to use a third-party mail forwarding service or have your product(s) order shipped to an address outside of our supported delivery regions, please note:

  • Any and all such orders are made at your own risk.

  • We are not responsible for any onward lost, damaged, delayed or incorrectly delivered packages once the order has been delivered to the third-party service or domestic forwarding address within our delivery regions.

  • We do not guarantee product condition, tracking accuracy or delivery timelines beyond our supported delivery regions.

  • Returns, replacements or refunds will not be issued for any product orders that are delivered outside our supported delivery regions via forwarding services.

By placing an order via a third-party or freight forwarding address, you acknowledge and accept these terms.


 

Non-Refundable Items:

  • Custom or made-to-order candle(s) order

  • Products returned to us damaged due to misuse or mishandling

  • Unsold products that were purchased via wholesale agreement

  • Promotional products are final sale and cannot be refunded



 

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

If your westcoastcrafts product is faulty, arrives to you damaged or you receive the wrong product:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@westcoastcrafts.eu

  • Include photos of the item and packaging, along with your order number.

  • We will offer a replacement product or full refund, including standard shipping costs, along with our sincere apologies!
